Think of all the adventurous movies where the heroes/pirates/group of teens are all looking for the cave of gold and jewels (think Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dora the Explorer the Movie, and many others). The protagonist holds the map, defeats dangerous creatures and avoid booby traps so that they can reach their final destination and live in riches! Have you taken a moment to think of the riches that Allah SWT is offering us? And Allah increases in guidance those who are rightly guided. Sometimes in life, we get caught up with routines, checklists, and the generally "rut." We feel worn out and exhuasted. Our life seems like an endless cycle of "same old." But we're too busy in 5th gear to realize we need to stop, and take a moment to refresh ourselves. I personally was having the same exact emotion, but Alhamdulilah I finally took a moment to pause and press the reset button. Taking a moment to reset is important and you can do it in many different ways. It may be unwinding and spending time with family or friends, taking time to read Quran slowly and understand it's meaning, taking a walk, or going on a vacation. We have to take care ourselves, and not let our lives go out of control. When taking breaks, make the intention that it is for Allah SWT so that you can continue to be productive.
